The bridge has a little handrest carved into it. The tuners, pickups, wiring, knobs, tailpiece and bridge are all non original. You will not be disappointed in this one. This vintage 1960's Hardshell case looks like it has been around, but it still functions as it should. This slightly larger than 17 inch wide body is hard to pair with a case. It comes with a vintage correct case that I had been hoarding for a special guitar. It is great not only for Jazz, but Rockabilly, Blues, you name it, it will be great. If I played Jazz more often, I would, but this guitar needs to be heard.

This guitar, if it had a Gibson Logo on it would be well over $8,000.00. What a tone from this Jumbo body and high end Fralin P-90's. When I hooked it up and played it, that was it. The Jumbo body is moderately Finish Crazed and the Sunburst is beautiful. I have never seen another guitar except a Gibson L-5 with this fret marker work and the end of the fretboard is definitely L-5. When I saw it, I remembered how special this guitar was. I wasn't brave enough to add electronics to a vintage guitar like this so I was very hesitant. He had Lindy Fralin Pickups and a wiring harness installed and would I come over and look at it. It was eventually sold and I hadn't heard anything else about until last month when one of my finders called me about this guitar. I had my eye on it but hesitated because it was originally a non electric guitar. This guitar was owned by a Jazz Player here in Des Moines that traded it to one of our shops. Shipping is left to be determined by the buyer and seller.

I could not find a year of manufacture for this guitar. This is one of the finest Electric L-5 Style Guitars I have ever played.
